Happy New Year 2023

To all regular readers and new visitors . . . I wish you a happy, healthy, and free year ahead, for 2023.

One of the keys to happiness is gratitude for whatever we have.

And it's a lot easier to be happy when in good health. Health gives a sense of ease and physical comfort, energy and optimism. It also underpins so many other aspects of life - productivity, success, awareness, and most important of all, friendships and relationships - so it makes sense to take care of your health.

And freedom is the fresh air that nourishes the soul, and allows us to make the best choices for our health.

At New Year, it's common to make New Year Resolutions. Have you made any? Would you like to make one?

Gym memberships sell like hot cakes in the first week of January. But as we all know, by March or even February, most of those plans are forgotten.

Many many people with mild health conditions may be able to cure themselves in a relatively short period of time. And then there are the others, with long term chronic conditions. Realistically, these people should think about a healing goal less as a sprint to success, and more as a hike.

A sprint involves maximum effort for a short time. The furthest a sprint can get you is about 100 meters, maybe 200 if you're extra-fit.

With a marathon, you take it easier, and ultimately get further.

And with a hike, you take it much slower still. There may be some challenging points, but the goal is to enjoy the journey, the fresh air, the company you're with, and the stunning views along the way.

I had improved enough to kick things up a notch, and took my first dose of "the potion", a powerful mixture I'd known about for years . . .

If you'll indulge me, my own healing journey has been a long one. The most intense part of my detox journey began on February 1st, 2018. In December 2017 I was just finishing a work contract. It was a three day a week job, nonetheless, it was all my energy could manage. After three days on, I spent most of the next three days in bed, completely exhausted, leaving me one day a week to call my own. I was sensitive to just about every vegetable, my digestion was broken, and sometimes I even had night sweats. For a man of 44 years, this was not normal, and a sure sign that it was time to do something, fast, or serious problems would follow.

The job ended just before Christmas; Jan' 2018 was taken up with admin'. After that I made a firm decision to fix my health before seeking my next job. On Feb' 1st, I joined a group detox course. While this gave rise to some days of feeling delicate, overall I noticed improvements pretty much right away. In May I had improved enough to kick things up a notch, and took my first dose of "the potion", a powerful mixture I'd known about for years, but had not been in good enough condition to take. In May I thought, this is it, this is the best chance, so I took it at pretty much the lowest measurable dose. The effects were intense. I felt dreadful for a few hours - partly because I'd messed a couple of things up - an experience I learned from. But the following day I felt A - M - A - Z - I - N - G. I could not remember ever having felt that good as an adult. But I was not cured. If I left it, symptoms returned. So I repeated, and repeated the process. Every time I learned more, and was able to refine the process, and make it easier.

As it turned out, I dedicated much of the following year to healing. At the end, I was transformed. Then one day I noticed a pain in my leg - and suddenly remembered, that pain used to be a permanent fixture, and had been enough to disturb my sleep. But after my year of healing, it had become so rare that it took me by surprise when I felt it for a brief moment. I added back to my diet foods to which I'd previously been sensitive. My health, digestion, energy, and all around quality of life was dramatically improved.

Why did it take such dedication for such a long time? Long story short - my health had been hit by various factors over the years, the first being at precisely 13 months of age (go figure). Add to that a bad diet, various infections, and highly toxic medicines (more on those another time), and by 44, there'd been over forty years for the toxins and damage to accumulate, and the critters to multiply.

As my symptoms showed, I started out dealing with a lot of toxicity. Most people have a much easier journey back to health - but with that said, I recognize that others are dealing with far worse, and I reach out to offer them support and guidance.

Following that year, I was able to lower the intensity of my healing efforts. But my healing journey and practices continue. Every year I feel better than the year before.

All things considered, I see the blessing in disguise in my experience. My own challenges put me on the road to become a healer for others. Also, like many in the natural healing space, it's only because of our own experiences of ill health that we spent years, or even decades learning about health, and it's only because of this that many of us dodged the bullets in 2020-2022.

Many people in bad health give up on getting better. They think they've tried everything, and just have to accept what they've got. This is a self-fullfilling prophecy, and a belief I had, for about 25 years, before things got so bad I had to search again for answers.

In 2020-1 I took my training to the next level, in learning to be a healer for others. The original meaning of doctor is "teacher": a doctor would teach his patients how to heal themselves. I am not a doctor in the modern sense, but as a healer, I teach people the methods of self-healing. It takes a relatively short amount of time to teach the protocols that will help a given individual.

If you want better health, and are ready to take action, do get in touch. For more info, see the Services page.

That's all for now, I will be sharing more info on health news, and some recipes soon. Until then, thank you for reading, and especially to regular subscribers. Again, wishing you and yours a healthy, happy, and free 2023.
