Update from Healing Truths
Created on: 2026-04-23
Hi folks, a quick update from me. Excuse the long delay since posting - nearly a year now!
I've spent the last year expanding my studies of natural healing, and completed two courses with the School of Natural Healing (SNH).
This school was set up by the legendary herbalist Dr Christopher. This training is in addition to all that I learned from Dr Daniels, which is / was incredible training I spent years searching for, initially for my own recovery.
The SNH and Dr Daniels' approach complement one-another.
Dr Daniels' Story
Dr Daniels draws on Afro-American traditions, including some targeted use of animal products to heal.
Her own training was initially in orthodox medicine, though she was disillusioned with this from the beginnings of her time in medical school - things that were taught just didn't add up, and the limitations of that system were all too clear when viewed from inside the system. When she began practicing, she also observed the side effects of drugs, including serious side effects.
Thereafter she began learning natural healing, and offered her patients a choice: she'd let them know the orthodox treatment for their conditions, along with the full list of possible side effects, or offer them plan B - changes in diet, lifestyle, and use of natural healing interventions. Most of her patients chose plan B.
So she had a rare opportunity to see how both systems compared, side by side, with thousands of patients, and was shocked to see that natural healing was not only much safer, but also far more effective at healing. Over the years she refined her art, and made major breakthroughs.
Dr Christopher's Story
Dr Christopher's story is a little different. Aged about 18 months, he was left in an orphanage by his birth parents, about whom little is known. Even then, he had arthritis and swollen joints, and many other health complaints. Doctors predicted he would not live beyond 40, and he was unable to obtain any life insurance due to his medical condition. However, he took up natural healing, and gradually cured himself of what ailed him.
During World War II he was drafted into the US military, and employed in a medical dispensary. There he was challenged to prove the efficacy of his herbalism, at which he succeeded dramatically. Thereafter he was given free rein to prescribe as he saw fit, making him the only practicing herbalist in the US military during WWII. This gave him the opportunity to treat thousands of patients and extend his learning through experience.
After the war, he set up the School of Natural Healing in 1953. He lived until well into his 80s, and died not of disease, but of complications of injuries. The school has been carried forward by his descendents, and I've had the privilege of studying with this school over the last year and a bit.
As I say, the SNH's approach and Dr Daniels' complement each other. Dr Daniels was a vegan for over 20 years, but reluctantly went back to eating meat when she found she couldn't sustain her diet any longer. As such, animal products are part of her approach to treatment. Note, this is not simply putting fast foods and burgers back in the diet! Her approach uses specific meats for specific nutritional purposes.
On the other hand, the SNH leans towards veganism. All of their specific treatments are vegan, and the diet they recommend is mostly (but not wholly) vegan.
I've offered healing consultations over the last few years, and I'll tell you, most people do not want to make major shifts in their diets. Some do, some are willing to try "everything", they are the "health warriors" who will do whatever it takes to get better - and I have huge respect for such people. But most people don't want to make major changes. Carnivores don't want to give up their meat, and vegans shudder at some of the foods I've recommended.
So having training from these two schools broadens my options for helping people, not only with diet, but also treatments, because what works for one person won't necessarily work for the next person (and this is just as true in orthodox medicine). Having more options helps.
The course I've just completed is called "Nutritional Herbalism", with an emphasis on diet and healthy (mostly) vegan eating. I've been experimenting with these principles over the past months, and continue in this vein.
My Healing Journey
I started my journey in response to my own health needs. Long story short, by 2017 I'd been severly damaged by toxic medicines, I had a raft of symptoms, including night sweats - which are not normal for a man in his mid-forties - they were a warning that something was seriously wrong and needed dealing with urgently.
A work contract I had came to an end in December 2017, and I dedicated the next 18 months to intensive healing. I used extreme detoxification methods, increasing the strength of a detox "potion" I used week after week to recover. On one occasion I accidentally doubled the potency, and had a brutal experience, from which I learned a lot. As such, it's hard to imagine that I could have accelerated my healing in that time any further.
By mid 2019 I was symptom free - so long as I stuck with my narrow diet and regular detoxes. I was over the moon by this. This was far more than I could have achieved with orthodox medicine. However, I did hit a wall - food sensitivities remained. Fixing those is one of the things I'm now working on, with my recent training.
What about you?
How is your health? If you're dealing with health issues, and looking for guidance, hit me up. My first practitioner level training was in 2020-1, though I've been learning about health for over 20 years. I've kept my prices low to make my guidance accessible to as many as possible, though prices will rise in due course. If you're keen to heal, hit me up ASAP.
